Last week, executives from HSA Commercial Real Estate traveled down to Indianapolis to host an open house at the company’s new 220,000-square-foot industrial spec building. Thirty local brokers turned up to get a first-hand look at the newly-completed facility near the Indianapolis International Airport in the Gateway Business Park at 1025 Columbia Road, Plainfield, Ind.

To humor the local crowd, the team from HSA set aside their Chicago Bears fandom for the day and passed out some great Indianapolis Colts-themed prizes including jerseys and helmets for several star Colts players including Pat McAfee, Reggie Wayne, and Andrew Luck (both home and away). HSA Commercial CEO Bob Smietana was on-hand to present the luckiest attendee of the day, Ryan Kelly of Summit Realty Group, with an Andrew Luck away jersey to wear on the trip to Denver that Ryan also won to see the Colts play the Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

The project’s leasing team, Terry Busch and John Hanley of CBRE, greeted guests and provided a presentation about leasing opportunities at Gateway Business Park’s newest facility. Located on 13 acres immediately southwest of the Indianapolis International Airport, the new freeway-visible industrial building features 32’ clear heights, 24 truck docks, four drive-in doors, 256 parking spaces and quick access to Interstate 70.

Known as the “Crossroads of America,” Indiana has eight interstate highways, three state-of-the-art international ports, which is why many of the nation’s largest companies have warehouses nearby including Amazon.com, Dick’s Sporting Goods, PepsiCo, and Sara Lee.
