Mark H. TeGrootenhuis, senior vice president, development division, HSA Commercial Real Estate, has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute.

Conferred by the CCIM Institute, the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation was established in 1969 and requires both extensive study and a portfolio of closed transactions and/or consultations demonstrating depth of experience. Only 6 percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation.

A 27-year veteran of the real estate construction industry, TeGrootenhuis has been involved with numerous commercial, industrial and medical building projects.  In his role at HSA Commercial, TeGrootenhuis consults on development assignments and manages industrial, retail and office development projects. Over the past 12 years, TeGrootenhuis has managed the completion of the firm’s O’Hare East Business Center, a 325,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility in Franklin Park, Ill.; two 82,000-square-foot industrial buildings in Woodridge, Ill.; and the redevelopment of Orland Park Place Mall in Orland Park, Ill. He is a licensed real estate professional in the State of Illinois.
