Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate has signed Like, Kind and Quality Auto Parts (LKQ) to a 10-year lease for 30,000 square feet at HSA Commercial’s Baton Rouge West Distribution Center at 1850/1870 Grande Terre Blvd. in Port Allen, La., announced Craig Phillips, executive vice president of development at HSA Commercial Real Estate.
LKQ selected Baton Rouge West for use as a regional distribution center because of its ready access to Interstates 10, 12 and 110. Developed by HSA Commercial in 2007, the 450,000-square-foot Baton Rouge West multi-tenant distribution center is located in Port Allen, less than a mile from Interstate 10 and with easy access to Interstates 110 and 12. Features include a 210-foot truck court with 80 exterior truck docks and 16 drive-in doors, 30-foot clear ceiling height, 50-foot bay spacing and ESFR sprinkler system.
With headquarters in Chicago, LKQ Corp. is the largest nationwide provider of aftermarket collision replacement products, recycled original-equipment-manufacturing (OEM) products and refurbished OEM replacement products such as wheels, bumper covers and lights for light vehicles. The company also distributes paint and body shop supplies.
