HSA COMMERCIAL REPRESENTS CREAM WINE COMPANY IN 12,500-SF CHICAGO WAREHOUSE LEASE
September 25, 2009
Tim Thompson, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Industrial Brokerage, HSA Commercial Real Estate, has announced that Paul Broderick and Brad Borkowski represented Cream Wine Company in the seven-year lease of a 12,500-square-foot space in a 107,000-square-foot warehouse facility at 2455 S. Damen Ave.
Founded in 2001, Cream Wine Company is a leading artisan wine distribution and marketing company owned and operated by two Chicago entrepreneurs. As a wholesale wine distributor and importer, the firm serves top restaurants and retailers across Illinois. It will use its new space as a sales and distribution center for its wine inventory.
The search for appropriate warehouse space took more than a year, according to Borkowski. "The challenge was to find affordable space within five miles of company headquarters at 118 N. Peoria," said Borkowski. Also critical, the company needed a warehouse that could be temperature-controlled to protect the wine inventory.
Edward C. Wabick, Mark A. Nelson and Michael D. Nelson of Paine/Wetzel ONCOR International represented ownership, Damen Market Inc. in the transaction.
