Dan Miranda, president of HSA Commercial Real Estate, and John Wilson, president of HSA PrimeCare, announced today the completion of the vault expansion at the University of Chicago Medicine’s 24,150 square foot Comprehensive Cancer Center. Developed by HSA PrimeCare and located on the Silver Cross Hospital Campus in New Lenox, Ill., the expansion includes a second vault for an additional linear accelerator, as well as minor modifications to the existing structure such as roof-mounted power and electric for the machine and a new control room.

HSA PrimeCare completed the cancer center expansion within budget and ahead of schedule. HKS served as the architect, and Premier Design + Build was the general contractor for the project. HSA PrimeCare is currently working with Silver Cross Hospital to develop the 30,000 square foot Silver Cross Business Center, which is expected to be complete in December of 2014.
