HSA COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE'S DEVELOPMENT DIVISION EXPANDS; FIRM HIRES PATRICK FUREY AS ASSISTANT VP

HSA Commercial Real Estate announced that the firm has hired Patrick Furey as an assistant vice president in the Development division. Furey will provide pre-construction services, be responsible for contractor selection and manage the development and construction process for many of the medical and industrial projects that HSA is involved in.

Furey, 31, comes to HSA from Proteus Group/Healthcare Development Partners in Chicago where he served as a project manager. He has extensive experience in pre-construction services including site selection and acquisition, due diligence, scheduling, budgeting and entitlement. Furey is a 1999 graduate of the University of Illinois with a BS in General Engineering with a construction management focus.

“We were very fortunate to have found someone with such a strong engineering and health care project management background,” said Mark Christensen, executive vice president of development at HSA. “Pat's proven experience makes him an extremely valuable addition to our team.”
