HSA'S PRIMECARE DIVISION ACQUIRES FULLY LEASED OFFICE BUILDING IN CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS; THE FIRM'S 2ND ACQUISITION IN THE CHAMPAIGN/URBANA MARKET

HSA Commercial Real Estate's Prime Care division has purchased a 29,680-square foot single tenant office building at 206 W. Anthony Drive, Champaign, Illinois. This marks the firm's second office acquisition in the Champaign-Urbana market, having acquired a 46,431-square foot medical office building at 1405 W. Park Street, Urbana, Illinois, in April of 2005. Prime Care is HSA's health care real estate consulting services division.
206 W. Anthony Drive is a one-story office building situated on a 2.8 acre parcel that has recently undergone an extensive exterior and interior renovation. The property was constructed in 1995 and is 100% leased to the 75-year old Carle Foundation, a not-for-profit, locally owned and operated health care system which manages Carle Foundation Hospital and other Carle health care services.
John Wilson, president of the Prime Care division, and Jon Boley, assistant vice president, acquisitions and development, led the HSA team that identified and negotiated the purchase of this property.
This acquisition brings HSA's medical facility portfolio to over 8 projects in three states, including 3 new medical office buildings the firm has developed in the Chicago suburbs, with a total portfolio value of over $80,000,000.
