HSA commercial real estate REPRESENTS FOUR DOWNTOWN CHICAGO LAW FIRMS IN LEASE NEGOATIONS

(Chicago – March 1, 2006) HSA Commercial Real Estate's corporate real estate services division recently represented four downtown Chicago law firms in lease negotiations, with one firm renewing its long standing lease, one firm moving within their present building, and two firms moving to new locations, taking advantage of the favorable downtown tenant market.

  • Wayne Shulman, senior vice president in HSA's corporate real estate services division, negotiated a 3,600-square foot lease renewal for Barry L. Gordon Enterprises, a family law firm with over 30 years of experience, at 205 W. Randolph, Chicago, Ill. Barry L. Gordon Enterprises has occupied this space for 12 years. 205 W. Randolph is owned by 205 W. Randolph Investors, who was represented by Maria Zatz with Midlakes Management.
  • Shulman also represented Steven D. Gertler & Associates, a personal injury law firm, in their move from 188 W. Randolph to 3,155-square feet at 415 N. LaSalle Street . The law firm relocated because ownership of 188 W. Randolph has plans to convert the building to residential use. 415 N. LaSalle is owned by Water Tower Realty who was represented in-house by Nick Karras.
  • The Wirbicki Law Group was represented by Shulman in their move from 28 E. Jackson to 2,781-square feet at 27 E. Monroe downtown Chicago. The firm expanded into larger space in the historic Palmer House Office Center, which is owned by Thor Equities. Ownership was represented by Charles Nash of Transwestern Commercial Services.
  • Ryan Foran, tenant representative, represented 1601 Office Associates Inc., in moving to a new 3,360-square foot suite within 180 N. LaSalle Street. 1601 Office Associates is a general practice law firm. 180 N. LaSalle is owned by Prime Group Realty Trust, represented in-house by Anita Pallardy.
