HSA COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE CONTINUES TENANT REPRESENTATION OF POTBELLY SANDWICH WORKS

(Chicago – March 21, 2006) HSA Commercial Real Estate's David Keady, vice president in the firm's retail brokerage division, represented Potbelly Sandwich Works in two new lease transactions which expanded the popular fast casual restaurant's Chicago area locations to 44.

  • Potbelly opened a new restaurant in 2,200-square feet at Westfield South Lake Mall in Merrillville, Indiana. This is the chain's second Indiana location. Westfield South Lake Mall is owned by the Westfield Group and was represented in-house by Gordon Austin.
  • Metropolitan Square in Des Plaines, Illinois, will also become home to a new 2,000-square foot Potbelly Sandwich Works. Metropolitan Square is a mixed-use, retail and residential project in downtown Des Plaines. It is owned by Joseph Freed & Associates, who was represented in-house by Andrew Stein.
