HSA COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE ASSISTS CHICAGO LAW FIRM IN OFFICE RELOCATION

(Chicago – January 9, 2008) Wayne Shulman, senior vice president, HSA Commercial Real Estate, negotiated on behalf of Monahan & Cohen, a law firm located in downtown Chicago, in an expansion and relocation to new office space at 55 West Monroe Street. The firm leased 8,595 square feet of space on the 38th floor for a 10-year term.
Monahan & Cohen is a general practice law firm with an emphasis on the legal problems of health care and human services providers. Previously located at 225 West Washington Street, the firm needed more space due to an expansion of their business. Shulman worked with Nikki Krohn of Jones Lang LaSalle to craft a favorable deal for the move.
55 West Monroe is an instantly recognizable landmark building in downtown Chicago designed in 1981 by Helmut Jahn. The 803,046-square-foot Class A building was fully renovated in 2002. It is owned by 55 W. Monroe Partners.
