HSA COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE HIRED BY MCCORMICK THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY TO PROVIDE FACILITY MANAGEMENT CONSULTING SERVICES

(Chicago – January 7, 2008) Christine Muszynski, executive vice president and director of management operations, announced that McCormick Theological Seminary has hired HSA Commercial Real Estate to provide facility management consulting services for its administrative and student residence facilities, as well as shared space with the Lutheran School of Theology.

McCormick Theological Seminary, a non-profit organization, is one of eleven schools of theology of the Presbyterian Church (USA). It shares a campus with the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, bordering the campus of the University of Chicago in Hyde Park. Primarily a seminary serving the Presbytery of Chicago and the Synod of Lincoln Trails, McCormick also educates members of other Christian denominations. It was named after American industrialist Cyrus McCormick. The main building is located at 5460 S. University Avenue in Chicago.

HSA’s assignment is two-fold. HSA will provide facility management consulting services led by Joe Swojenski, general manager. These services will include analyzing and benchmarking facility operating expenses and identifying cost savings and service enhancement opportunities. Ryan Worcester, property manager, will also provide services in the areas of vendor management, capital improvements and special projects.
