HSA COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE HIRES BRIAN SPOERL AS MEDICAL OFFICE LEASING AGENT

(Chicago – December 19, 2007) John Wilson, president of HSA Commercial Real Estate’s corporate real estate services and PrimeCare divisions, announced that Brian Spoerl has joined the firm as an assistant vice president/leasing manager of healthcare properties, to focus on the firm’s growing medical office portfolio.
Spoerl, 38, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and a resident of Milwaukee. He most recently was a broker for office and medical office investment properties with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services. Previously, Spoerl owned and managed his own local real estate firm in Milwaukee, Brian Spoerl Realty Group, which was sold at the end of 2006.
Spoerl is a member of the Commercial Association of Realtors, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Wisconsin.
HSA through its healthcare real estate division, HSA PrimeCare, owns over 475,000 square feet of medical office properties, valued at over $100 million, in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. It has three medical office buildings in the Chicago metropolitan area planned or currently under construction, and is redeveloping two existing medical properties previously purchased.
“Brian will be a key addition to our staff,” said Wilson, “as we continue to grow and enhance the value of our medical real estate portfolio.” Spoerl will be located at HSA’s headquarters at 233 S. Wacker Drive in downtown Chicago.
