HSA COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE ACQUIRES 90 ACRES OF VACANT LAND IN MOUNT PLEASANT, WI
Firm plans future multi-building business park on site

(Chicago – October 5, 2007) HSA Commercial Real Estate has acquired 90 acres of vacant farmland along Interstate 94 in Mount Pleasant, Wis. The site is located within the new 950-acre Mount Pleasant International Commerce Center that will accommodate corporate and professional office, hotel, research and light industrial buildings. The property is located at the intersections of State Highway 20 and International Drive.
Strategically located near two I-94 interchanges, the site offers excellent visibility and is in the rapidly growing Chicago-Milwaukee corridor. Mount Pleasant is a fast growing community located in the heart of that corridor and the population growth over the past five years has been 7.8%. The Village is home to Case New Holland, Putzmeister, S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc., as well as a variety of business hotels.
HSA will begin developing this site in the Spring of 2008, with seven or more industrial buildings planned in multiple phases. HSA’s development division, already a major player in developments across the United States, will oversee the project. Jack Shaffer, HSA Chairman, and John Mangel, HSA Vice President of Development/Acquisitions, spearheaded the team that located and negotiated this transaction.
