hsa commercial real estate assists fitness retailers with expansion plan

(Chicago – December 19, 2006) David Keady, vice president, HSA Commercial Real Estate, recently negotiated three retail leases for two Chicago fitness retailers looking to expand their presence in the Chicago metropolitan area.

  • Chicago Home Fitness, an upscale fitness equipment dealer with 16 Chicago locations, opened a new retail showroom in 3,257-square feet at Patriot Marketplace on Willow Road in Glenview, Illinois. Anchored by Costco and Home Depot, Patriot Marketplace is owned by The Harlem Irving Companies who was represented in house by Geoff Kerth. Keady is the exclusive Chicago leasing representative for Chicago Home Fitness.
  • Chicago Home Fitness will also open a new 3,150-square foot store at the Gurnee Town Center, Gurnee, Illinois. Ownership of Gurnee Town Center was represented by Daniela Macaddino with Inland Continental Property Management Corp.
  • Fitness Experts, another fitness retailer with 10 stores in the Chicago area, leased 3,719-square feet at 14700 S. LaGrange Road in Orland Park, Illinois. The property is owned by InSite Real Estate, represented in house by Carolyn Kostelny.
