hsa commercial real estate leases entire north carolina building to carrier corporation
November 2, 2005

(Chicago – November 2, 2005) HSA Commercial Real Estate announced that it has leased a 165,000-square foot distribution facility at 1711 Corporation Parkway, Raleigh, North Carolina, to Carrier Sales & Distribution, a division of the Carrier Corporation. 1711 Corporation Parkway was purchased by HSA in 1997 and is just off I-440 on the east side of Raleigh.

Carrier plans to use the space as a distribution center for the southeast market and signed a 10-year lease with a 5-year option to renew. They chose the building because of its location and excellent condition, and the fact that HSA's development division was able to incorporate a merchandise showroom into the build-out of the space. This will allow Carrier to display its equipment.

Carrier Corporation is a world leader in the manufacture and sale of heating, ventilating, air condition, HVAC systems and products. They are headquartered in Farmington, Connecticut and part of the United Technologies Company group.

HSA was represented in the leasing of the property by Lee Holder of Holder & Anthony Co. in Raleigh.

HSA is one of the largest industrial property owners in the nation, ranked 19 th by National Real Estate Investor in its “Top National Industrial Owners” survey published in July, 2005.

Celebrating more than 24 years of excellence in commercial real estate, Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate is a full-service real estate firm specializing in office, industrial, retail and health care real estate leasing, management, marketing, development and financing on a national basis.
