HSA's brown deer business park wins 2005 boma toby award

(Chicago – September 16, 2005) Christine Leonard, executive vice president and director of management operations, HSA Commercial Real Estate's Property Management Division, announced that on Wednesday night, the firm's Brown Deer Business Park in Brown Deer, Wisconsin, won the 2005 Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Wisconsin's 2005 TOBY Award, in the Industrial/Office Park category. This is the 4th recognition for Brown Deer Business Park, having won this prestigious award in 2001, 2002 and 2003.

The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) award is the most prestigious and comprehensive award of its kind in the commercial real estate industry. It recognizes quality buildings and exemplary property managers of office buildings, industrial office parks, and apartment buildings.

“I would personally like to congratulate and thank HSA's Brown Deer management staff,” said Leonard, “led by our general manager Dion Watton along with his capable staff: Liz Collins, Randy McCray and David Jackson. Winning this prestigious award 4 times is testament to their dedicated hard work and the respect they generate from our tenants in the park.”

In addition, Brown Deer Business Park was also recently honored by the Village of Brown Deer and received the coveted “2005 Brown Deer in Bloom” landscaping award, given to properties for their eye-catching appeal, maintenance, well-planned design and creative plant material.

Brown Deer Business Park is a mixed used development north of Milwaukee that consists of 10 premium quality industrial, office and high-finish flex tech buildings on approximately 40 acres. HSA purchased the 717,717-square foot park in May, 2004, in a joint venture with Mike Klonoski and Morgan Realty Partners.
