August 10, 2005

(Chicago – August 10, 2005) Tim Thompson, executive vice president and managing director of HSA's industrial brokerage, and Doug Reed, senior vice president industrial brokerage, announced that they have represented both owner and tenant in leasing 258,395-square feet of industrial space at the North Chicago Business Park located at 30120 Skokie Highway, North Chicago, Illinois.

“The CenterPoint team of Mike Murphy and Nick Sisto worked closely with HSA to provide Uline with an ideal solution for their box depot," said Bob Smietana, vice chairman and chief executive officer, HSA Commercial Real Estate. “While it is unusual for a firm to both lease space and negotiate on behalf of a potential tenant, it enabled HSA to create a win-win situation for all involved.”

Owned by CenterPoint Properties, the North Chicago Business Park is a newly constructed 394,070-square foot state-of-the-art industrial facility originally developed by HSA. The property was sold earlier this year by HSA as part of a $96 million portfolio acquisition by CenterPoint.

Uline, a leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packing materials to businesses throughout the United States, leased the space in an expansion of their distribution network in the Chicago area.

Celebrating more than 24 years of excellence in commercial real estate, Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate is a full-service real estate firm specializing in office, industrial, retail and health care real estate leasing, management, marketing, development and financing on a national basis.
