hsa commercial real estate serves as a tenant representative for urban media group in chicago area site search

(Chicago – June 15, 2005) Shannon Pope, vice president in HSA Commercial Real Estate's retail brokerage division, represented Urban Media Group in selecting 3 sites for new retail stores. Urban Media Group, founded by Marc Brooks, operates U.S. Cellular stores in the Chicago area market. Pope is the exclusive leasing agent for Urban Media Group and negotiated new leases at:

  • Country Club Hills Plaza, Country Club Hills, Ill. U.S. Cellular signed a lease for a 1,400-square foot store in this center located on 167th Street in Country Club Hills. Joe Parrot of CB Richard Ellis represented ownership of the plaza.
  • Forest Park Plaza, Forest Park, Ill. An 1,822-square foot retail store will also open in this neighborhood center located at 7600 W. Roosevelt Road in Forest Park . Coniston Consulting represented Forest Park Plaza LLC, the owner of the plaza.
  • The SWC Ashland & Vermont, Cal Park, Ill. In the third location, U.S. Cellular will open a 1,600-square foot store in this building owned by Raceway Land Development LLC.

Pope has represented Marc Brooks and Urban Media Group since 1999 and has completed approximately 9 lease transactions for the organization.
